The Personnel Group Broadens it’s scope

Two of Albury-Wodonga’s own leading businesses have joined to offer superior services to the local business community.

Not-for-profit organisation, The Personnel Group, has recently acquired MP Training and Recruitment, a long-standing Albury/Wodonga private recruitment, labor hire, and training business.

John Gibbons, CEO of The Personnel Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the addition of MP Training and Recruitment.

“The acquisition of MP Training and Recruitment aligns with our goal of providing a comprehensive range of services. We have primarily focused on Disability Employment Services since our establishment in 1986, however, now we have expanded our offerings to provide more services to our customers and our community,” said Mr Gibbons.

Our business model will now provide services and supports across four main business arms – Employment, Training, Health, and Community.

The Personnel Group and MP Training and Recruitment, have a long history of collaboration on various projects. Craig Cleary, General Manager of MP Training and Recruitment, said “It’s business as usual for our clients, with the same staff and service we have always provided. We are excited to be a part of The Personnel Group which will strengthen and enhance capabilities for both businesses.”

In late 2022, The Personnel Group began to expand its services by acquiring an allied health business, currently employing eight provisional psychologists who now provide counseling and assessment services to people across regional NSW and Victoria, ACT, and northwest suburbs of Melbourne.
