The Personnel Group‘s Story
Tender success for Personnel Group
The Personnel Group is proud to share the exciting news of its successful bid for the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) contract, delivering vital employment services for individuals living with disability or long-term illnesses.
This marks a major transition in Australia’s employment support landscape, with the IEA program replacing the Disability Employment Services (DES) program from the 1st November 2025.
The Personnel Group has been awarded Inclusive Employment Australia contracts, in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Launceston, Wollongong, Albury Wodonga, Ballarat, Wangaratta, Benalla, Nowra, Wagga, Griffith, Leeton and Deniliquin.
With nearly forty years of dedication to supporting vulnerable jobseekers, this achievement reinforces The Personnel Group’s position as Australia’s longest-serving not-for-profit disability employment provider.
The Personnel Group’s CEO John Gibbons said: This result is a recognition of our industry leading model, talented and committed team members, and absolute commitment to the customers we serve. We are pleased to be able to extend our service to even more people across the country.
Mr Gibbons acknowledged the challenges that come with change. “While we obtained significant growth we did not receive new contracts for some existing areas including Shepparton, Bendigo, Goulburn, and Batemans Bay. The Personnel Group is now considering how to support these communities using other services such as NDIS Employment.
The Personnel Group extends its gratitude to its dedicated staff, community partners, and valued customers, for their continued support. With new exciting horizons ahead, The Personnel Group remains deeply committed to delivering inclusive, person-centred support.
