The Personnel Group Announces Changes to Support Coordination Services

4 min 40 sec

Starting January 2025, The Personnel Group will no longer provide Support Coordination services.

This decision reflects anticipated Government changes following the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) review, which recommends transitioning Support Coordination to independent providers instead of service providers like The Personnel Group.

“We fully understand and support the Government’s direction to enhance the independence of Support Coordination for NDIS participants,” shared John Gibbons, CEO of The Personnel Group. “Our focus remains on ensuring the best possible outcomes for our participants and providing unwavering support during this transition.”

Support During the Transition

The Personnel Group’s dedicated Support Coordination team, including Carley Downward, will work closely with participants and their families. Their priority remains identifying and transitioning individuals to a Support Coordination provider that best suits their needs.

After thorough research and consultation, The Personnel Group recommends Future Focus as a trusted alternative. Future Focus has a strong reputation for helping NDIS participants achieve positive outcomes and is well-equipped to support participants as they enter the next stage of their plans.  The employment of Carley will continue with Future Focus from the 28th of January 2025.

While Future Focus is a recommended option, participants are encouraged to choose a provider that aligns best with their personal needs and goals.

Continued Commitment to Our Participants

“This decision was not made lightly. Providing Support Coordination has been an absolute privilege,” added Mr. Gibbons. “We are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible and to supporting our participants every step of the way.”

Throughout the transition, The Personnel Group will remain available to answer questions and guide participants in making confident decisions about their future.
