Jessica thrives in a supportive team
On-site support from The Personnel Group helped Jessica successfully transition into her new role.
Jessica’s confidence has blossomed since joining the team at Subway Vincentia.

Her manager Jo says she has quickly become a key member of staff.
“Jessica has come along in leaps and bounds,” says Jo.
“When she started, she was so shy, but now she walks in confident and says hello with a smile.
“Everyone likes working with Jess; she gets in and gets the job done.
“She loves working, and we have a laugh. She’s great.
“In summer, she’s going to be a gem because we’re going to be busy.”
With a food safety certificate, Jessica has been able to put her skills to use by helping with food preparation in her kitchen hand role.
“I help with cleaning and help with food prep,” Jessica says.
On-site support from The Personnel Group helped Jessica successfully transition into her new role.
“I’ve been getting more confident being around people more,” she says.
Jessica, who has work experience at a supermarket, enjoys being part of a close-knit team, something she had not experienced before.
Jo says Jessica is currently working three shifts a week.
“Everyone needs a chance, deserves a chance. That’s how I look at it,” she says.
“I have a nephew who’s grown up with autism and that experience helps understand Jessica’s needs.”
Jessica believes working in a “friendly, happy, cheery environment” has positively impacted her well-being.
“They are very fantastic,” Jessica says.
