Yes, you can! If your NDIS plan includes funding for “Improved Daily Living” supports, you may be able to use it for mental health counselling. Our team can help you navigate your plan and determine if you’re eligible for NDIS-funded counselling services.

Yes, we do! Our telehealth consultations make it easier to access professional support no matter where you are. If you’re based in regional areas or prefer the convenience of remote sessions, our psychologists can provide the same level of care and support online.

A standard psychology session typically lasts between 50 to 60 minutes, depending on your individual needs and the type of support required. Your psychologist will work with you to ensure each session is as effective and beneficial as possible.

In your first session, your psychologist will take the time to understand your concerns, background, and goals for therapy. This is a safe and supportive space where you can discuss what brought you to therapy, and together, we’ll create a personalised plan to support your mental well-being.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. It’s an effective treatment for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and stress. Through CBT individual therapy, you’ll learn practical coping strategies to manage your emotions and navigate life’s challenges more effectively.

CBT is widely used to treat a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and phobias. However, everyone’s needs are unique, which is why an initial assessment with a psychologist is important to determine the best approach for you.

Please note that private health insurance and Medicare rebates cannot be used for the same session.
