Elevating NDIS Support with Exciting New Offerings

5min read

In a significant move towards enhancing the lives of individuals who are a part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), The Personnel Group has launched new NDIS offerings to sit beside its existing employment focused NDIS services Pathway to Work and Employment Supports. The new services—School Leaver Employment Support (SLES), and Support Coordination—are poised to broaden the options and landscape of disability support by fostering independence, employment opportunities, and comprehensive care.

Pathway to Work: Paving the Way to Professional Success

Pathway to Work stands as a beacon of empowerment for individuals on the NDIS.  By providing tailored, individualised pre-employment support to help people navigate the difficult journey towards employment. The Personnel Group recognises the unique abilities and talents of each participant, offering personalised career pathways, skills development, and work experience in order to help participants get ready for the workforce. By focusing on strengths and aspirations, Pathway to Work is designed to unlock a world of opportunities and create a sense of accomplishment through meaningful employment.

School Leaver Employment Support (SLES): Bridging the Transition Gap

The implementation of School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) underscores The Personnel Group’s commitment to easing the transition from school to employment for young individuals who are part of the NDIS. SLES equips participants with essential life skills, vocational training, and on-the-job experience. This holistic approach ensures a smoother integration into the workforce, promoting independence and self-confidence.

Support Coordination: Navigating the NDIS Landscape with Expert Guidance

Recognising how difficult the NDIS can be to navigate, The Personnel Group introduces Support Coordination, a service aimed at simplifying and maximising the benefits of the scheme for the participant. Our highly trained coordinators work closely with participants, their families, and service providers to develop and implement effective support plans. This ensures that individuals receive the right support at the right time to promote a seamless experience in accessing a range of services.

The Personnel Group’s new offerings are not just services; they represent a holistic approach towards helping every person achieve their individual goals. By providing a pathway to employment, easing the transition for school leavers, and offering expert support coordination, The Personnel Group is able to make a lasting impact on the lives of those with disabilities.

“This launch marks a significant milestone for us at The Personnel Group,” says John Gibbons, CEO of The Personnel Group. “We believe that every individual, regardless of ability, deserves the opportunity to lead a fulfilling and independent life. Our new NDIS offerings are a testament to our commitment to making that belief a reality.  With the changing nature of disability employment in Australia, we believe that this is the best means of ensuring every person has access to the best possible service.”

As The Personnel Group takes this bold step forward, it not only transforms the lives of individuals with disabilities but also contributes to building a more inclusive and compassionate society. The launch of SLES and Support Coordination marks a promising chapter in the journey towards a future where everyone is given the chance to thrive and reach their full potential.
