Financial support

There are numerous financial incentives and support for businesses to employ a person with a disability, including wage subsidies and accessing funding for workplace modifications and equipment.

Wage subsidies – Up to $10,000 available to an employer who hires an eligible jobseeker.
Workplace modifications – An employer can access Government funding to change their workplace to enable a person with a disability to perform their duties.
Workplace mental health training is provided through JobAccess.
Supported Wage System – for jobseekers who cannot perform their duties at the required productivity rate due to their disability or mental health condition.
