Our program is designed to offer you the flexibility and resources you need to thrive, all while balancing the demands of parenthood.

We provide the Parents Pathways program across the Murray – Riverina region , including:
Balranald, Cootamundra, Corowa, Deniliquin, Finley, Griffith, Gundagai, Hay, Hillston, Holbrook, Junee, Leeton, Moama, Mulwala, Narrandera, Tolland, Tumut, and Wagga Wagga.

What is Parent Pathways?

Parent Pathways offers a wide range of options to help you and your family. The program is voluntary, meaning you can join, pause, and return to the Parent Pathways program when it suits you.

Parent Pathways can provide:

Personalised support with a qualified, friendly Mentor.
A tailored plan to support your goals, needs, and family commitments.
Assistance with connecting you to other services that can provide support to help you and your family.

Examples of support may include:

Language and literacy programs – Enhance your communication skills.

Childcare connections – Receive support in finding and connecting with local childcare providers.

Financial assistance – Access funds for training courses, text books, or technology needs.

Community referrals – Let us help you connect with organisations that can assist with personal challenges.

Educational opportunities – Further your knowledge and skills with short courses.

Career guidance – Receive expert advice on navigating your career path.

Transport assistance – Support to help you obtain your driver’s license, or fuel or taxi vouchers.

Employment assistance – We can support you with resume preparation and finding a suitable job.

We offer flexible meeting options at our centres, over the phone, or via video calls. You’re always welcome to bring your children along, ensuring they feel at ease in our child-friendly environment complete with toys and activities.

Are you eligible?

Parent Pathways is for parents and carers who:

Have a child aged under six
Are not in paid employment
Live in an area where there is a Parent Pathways provider, and is receiving one of these payments – parenting payment, carer payment, or special benefit.

Eligibility can also include those who are not getting a Centrelink payment, and are either:
